Paddington, London
Design | Hotel Bedrooms
The design direction took lead from the local community and channeled Arabic design into a contemporary scheme, with a focus on rugs and a muted range of colour.

The intent was not to replicate Arabic style and colour, but to develop a more complementary set of designs that took current furnishing trends and Middle Eastern influences and meshed them together. The result, a fresh blend of modern kilim wall hangings, frameless mirrors, metal, stone, angular lighting, and a touch of vintage and rattan.

Each room required a cabinet that would hold a minibar and safe, there needed to be somewhere to store clothes and where possible a workspace.
